Bad Communication

In addition to talking about porn stars, 47-inch touch screen vending machines, the Japanese economy falling to number three and the new dating service provided by the prefectural government of Fukui, we have a special guest on the show.  For our long-anticipated reunion show, we film together in the same “studio” and get back into things the right way.  Starting with this episode, we’ll be filming on Sunday afternoon and posting the episodes later in the day.  We have a lot of great stuff coming up made even better by your feedback.  We’re excited about being back and looking forward to hearing from you all!

After taking a few weeks off to recover from the stresses of being relocated, we’re back in force with Ep. 04 of Bad Communication.  Although I’m still without an internet connection,  I’m praying that I’ll be back online by the taping of the next show.  I’ll keep my fingers crossed for that.  Until then, enjoy this episode and let us know what you thought.  We really are always happy to hear from you.

Although this video was included in one of our previous shows, I thought it was worth a post of its own.  This was the first video Andrew and I shot and produced and it turned out pretty good in my humble opinion.  It was this video that gave us the inspiration for the title of our first show: “We Talk to the Guy Who Makes Octopus Balls”

In addition to really great takoyaki, the owner is a friendly and outgoing guy.  Good food and a good experience.  Don’t be shy!

During one of the busiest times during the year in Tokushima City, Hiroki ventures out of his apartment to visit the Awa-Odori festival held during Obon.  Lots of great food, good drink, fantastic music and dance, the Awa-Odori dance festival is something that one must see at least once during their stay in the country.
